Privacy, without the small-print maze.

Sejanus connects to a mailbox you choose. This policy explains the data needed to provide that service and the controls available to you.

Data we process

We process your account name and email address, encrypted mailbox credentials, synced email content and attachments, drafts, mailbox actions, read-receipt events, push-notification identifiers, and technical data needed for security and troubleshooting.

How data is used

Data is used to authenticate you, connect to your mailbox, display and send email, synchronize mailbox actions, deliver notifications, provide requested read receipts, prevent abuse, and operate the service. Sejanus does not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

Infrastructure providers process data on our behalf. OneSignal delivers push notifications, and Cloudinary may store email attachments. Your mailbox provider processes email according to its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Synced data is retained while your Sejanus account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated Sejanus data from Profile > Delete account. Deleting Sejanus does not delete the original external mailbox.

Your choices

You can disable notifications in device or app settings, stop using read receipts, disconnect use of the service, or delete your account in the app.
